SIXTIETH ANNIVERSARY YEAR 1948 - 2008
The Stonehouse Wheelers Cycling Club was formed in 1948.
We cater for all ages. Why not join us and explore the
quieter lanes at a more civilised pace.
Rides are organised and lead to local beauty spots and places
of interest covering usually 25 to 30 miles on Sunday afternoons.
For more ambitious riders there are longer all day rides.
In the summer months, Wednesday Evening Rides, cater for
beginners and returners. There are also tours abroad
and weekend trips.
An expensive bicycle is not essential but it must of course
be roadworthy with efficient brakes, lights and plenty of gears.
Don't worry about punctures or break downs, one of the
advantages of cycling in a group is that there is always someone
on hand to help. Cycling is also very good for you!
